Erik Buell Racing has opened up their first office in Europe, at Alkmaar, Netherlands. According to their plan, the company wants to expand themselves throughout the European market in the coming years. Hero MotoCorp, who recently bought 49.2% stake in EBR, will have a great hand in the expansion of the company.
Along with EBR's expansion, Hero also plans to expand their business too in the European market. India's Hero is currently the largest two-wheeler brand considering the yearly sales of two-wheeler units. Having a good no. of affordable motorcycles and scooters in Hero's garage, it would be an added advantage for the company to reach out to the customers easily even in a new market.
Leaks have been spreading on the internet blogs that Hero might be launching low cost machines along with EBR. That's utilizing EBR's technical expertise and Hero's capital, entry level superbikes like quarter liter motorcycles may get out of the production house.
And, in the European market, both Hero and EBR motorcycles will be sold only in the same outlet, which will help one each other to improve their business.
