Kawasaki Z1000 Heading to India

Great news for all Indian super-sport naked motorcycle fans that Kawasaki is all set to launch the Z1000 in India. According to the reports, the bike is expected to hit in the country on 23rd December, 2013. So the year 2013 will end up with a green wind.



Kawasaki had recently revealed the updated Z1000 at the EICMA motorcycle show, in Milan, Italy. So, the Z1000 is the 6th Kawasaki motorcycle to hit Indian after the Ninja 250R, Ninja 300, Ninja 650R, Ninja ZX-10R, and Ninja ZX-14R.

The Z1000 is powered by a 1043cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four, DOHC, 16 valves engine, which delivers a tremendous power of 101.5 kW @ 9,600 rpm and a tremendous torque of 110 N-m @ 7,800 rpm. It's mated with a 6 speed transmission.

The bike needs only 2.9 seconds to clock 0-60 mph. Meanwhile, 267 kph is the top speed of the Z1000.
