As Kawasaki introduces its all new motor-machine, the Ninja ZX-10 R ABS, motorcycle maniacs need no more reasons to celebrate. Kawasaki engineers have done a wonderful job in moulding out such beautiful piece of two-wheeled machine on road.
The bike looks lively up to its class. There nothing to be wondered as Kawasaki designers are always doing stunning works before a motorcycle get placed on the ramp for unveiling. Its black and green color combination tempts every eyes to stare at it at least for once.
The makers behind the ZX-10 knew very well that the 1000cc class is highly competitive. So it needs extra-brilliance to work out a class leading machine in this segment. The engineers worked hard on it and brought an endeavouring bi-wheeler that is coupled with numerous technological benefits, manoeuvrability, features and lots more.
The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS comes with a powerful 998cc, Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder, inline-four engine. Mated with the ignition system, TCBI with digital advance and Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control (S-KTRC) and the fuel injection system, DFI® with four 47mm Keihin throttle bodies with oval sub-throttles, two injectors per cylinder, the machine promises better fuel efficiency without compromising performance. Its engine is coupled with a 6 speed gear transmission.
Even though superbikes give priority to speed rather than comfort, the ZX-10R ABS also brings comfy for the riders. It has been mated with a 43mm inverted Big Piston Fork (BPF), adjustable rebound and compression damping, spring preload adjustability front suspension and a Horizontal back-link with gas-charged shock, stepless, dual-range (low-/high-speed) compression damping, stepless rebound damping, fully adjustable spring preload rear suspension.
Superbikes certainly need high braking efficiency and the ZX-10R never misses it. Equipped with a Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Braking (KIBS), dual semi-floating 310mm petal discs with dual four-piston radial-mount calipers at front and a KIBS-controlled, single 220mm petal disc with aluminum single-piston caliper at rear power up the beauty of braking even at high speeds. Moreover, as it comes along with ABS option, you can imagine how secure the motorcycle would be for a rider.
The ZX-10R ABS weighs only 201 kg (kerb weight) and has a fuel tank of 17 liters. The machine is avaliable in following colors- Lime Green/Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Flat Stardust White/Metallic Spark Black. The bike is priced at $15,299 in the USA market.
