2013 MV Agusta F4 Gets ABS

Now the flagship machine of MV Agusta turns to be real stunner.

Now the flagship motorcycle of the Italian superbike manufacturer, MV Agusta, the F4 looks more impressive, stunning and secured. Because, the all new 2013 F4 is now available in ABS version as well. However, it is only optional. The customer needs to shed out € 1000 more than the standard model to own the ABS edition. The base model of the F4 starts at € 16,990.

The ABS package mated in the F4 ha been borrowed from Bosch. It features the dual-channel Bosch 9M+ anti-lock braking system with anti-rear wheel lift. This helps the rider to handle the F4 with better maneuverability even in low-traction stops and wet surfaces. The braking system of Bosch certifies you a better experience. If a sudden brake is applied at a high speed, the rear wheel doesn't get jumped and this brings in much confidence to any rider who loves to go on the top speed.

The ABS package of F4 is coined in two modes. One is Normal and the other is Race Mode. In the normal Mode, ABS gets into action wherever and whenever the brake is applied. However, in the Race Mode, it is much helpful for the professional riders as the threshold is kept higher, the braking system wont irritate the rider with unnecessary tractions.

Along with the ABS package the F4 has now turned to be true sportbike. The manufacturer had already wedded traction control, electronically adjusted suspension, and a ride-by-wire throttle to the Italian superbike.

Its engine is mated with a Cassette style; six speed, constant mesh gear transmission. The top speed of the F4 is 291.2 kmph.

Being a high-end superbike, less aren't the features melted with the F4. The Italian firm hasn't comprised anything on the comfort, features and the technical specifications of the bike. It is equipped with Double floating disc brakes at front and a Single steel disc at rear. To bring in the next level comfort line ups a Marzocchi “UPSIDE - DOWN” telescopic hydraulic fork with adjustable rebound-compression damping and external spring preload suspension at front, and a Progressive Sachs, single shock absorber with rebound and compression (High speed/Low speed) damping and spring preload adjustment suspension at rear have been attached.
